The customer catalogue

For an operator: your customers, their circuits and VLANs, rebuilt from what is written in the descriptions.

At a glance

  1. WhereCustomers menu.
  2. AccessCustomers and beta modules, the view customers permission; confirming a customer needs the manage permission.
  3. DataInterface descriptions that follow a convention.

What the screen shows

The tabs

Dashboard, Browse, Circuits, VLANs, Graph, Conventions and Missing reference.

What a customer is here

Each description is classified customer, infrastructure or unreadable. A customer is identified by its circuit reference, not its name: two sites of one organisation are two customers. The match is cross checked against VRF, L2VPN, VLAN, xconnect and CDP.

What you can do

  1. 1

    Refresh the catalogue

It rebuilds itself 90 seconds after each collection or configuration import.

Limits and things to know

Empty or partial catalogue

Descriptions that follow no recognised convention land in Missing reference; the Conventions tab says what is expected.
